Mr. Brad Koehn leads the home inspection division of Esox Property Services. If you select Esox PS for your home inspection needs, Brad will be the one who personally performs your inspection and completes your report. As a Certified Professional Inspector (CPA) with InterNACHI (the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), you can be assured that Brad will complete your home inspection in accordance with the highest standards in the industry. In addition to being a certified home inspector, Brad is also a highly experienced Community Association Manager. With almost 15 years in the community association management industry, both in Michigan and in Florida, Brad has managed the daily operations (including maintenance, administration, and finance) of dozens of homeowners associations and condominium association. Brad has managed everything from your "typical" homeowners and condo associations to luxury beach condos, low, mid and high-rises, master associations, a large mobile home park, and even a class C water utility company.
As a community association manager, Brad has written contracts for, and overseen numerous maintenance projects. Such projects include concrete replacement, painting, asphalt replacement, roof and ventilation replacement, commercial pool renovations, siding replacement, landscape maintenance, snow removal operations, and so on. To date, the largest project that Brad has been directly involved in is a $1.8 million siding and balcony replacement project for a community in Rochester Hills, MI.
In addition his designation through Internachi as a Certified Professional Inspector, Brad also maintains all three manager designations through the Community Associations Institute. These designations include: the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation, the AMS (Association Management Specialist) designation, and the prestigious PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designation. In the past 32 years since the start of the PCAM designation through CAI, less than 2,500 individuals world-wide have been awarded the PCAM.
Brad also maintains a Michigan license as an insurance agent (producer). For a short time, to further his knowledge, Brad opened an insurance agency in Macomb and Oakland Counties specializing in home, auto, commercial and life insurance. Brad has held a license in Florida as a LCAM (licensed community association manager). He also spent several years in the construction industry with a focus on underground construction (concrete, foundations, water & sewer lines, septic fields, etc.).
During his career, Brad has been featured in a variety of printed publications including The Bay Voice newspaper, and Community Association News (an industry magazine published by the Michigan Chapter of CAI).
